Record Playback

Making waves

Coaster Caddie
This is a snappy little project where students explore the surface design possibilities of aluminium (polishing, punching, burnishing, sanding), as well as using a strip heater to bend the holder into shape.  The surface area is small making it a contained design.

 Bowlo 
This project explores the possibilities of dome blowing with acrylic.  Students make a dome and convert it into a useful bowl by designing a method of stabilising it.  This could be done by making a structure underneath or by modifying the bowl itself.
